CONDITIONERS

Conditioning creams are the result of the evolution of “classic” after-shampoo products or conditioners. Conditioners are products making combing easier and the hair less likely to felt or break. Conditioning creams develop at the greatest extent the characteristics of after-shampoos; in addition to having restructuring and nourishing properties, they complete zoocosmetic treatments. Unlike common after-shampoo products, conditioning creams may be used also without previously washing our pet; of course, its hair should be clean. Conditioning creams may be used pure or adding nourishing substances to them – oils, lotions – in order to potentiate their zoocosmetic properties. Anyway, due to their chemical structure, they can’t be mixed with substances or products containing cationic surface-active agents – as soaps and shampoos for example – as the two products would reciprocally annul their action.
